DreamLeague Season 29 is an online Dota 2 tournament organized by ESL Gaming, featuring a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD. The competition utilizes a format that begins with a 16-team Group Stage where participants are divided into two single round-robin groups of eight. In this initial stage, teams compete for playoff positioning, with the top six teams from each group advancing to the next phase while the remaining squads are eliminated. The top four finishers from each group advance to the Upper Bracket of the final Playoffs, while the 5th and 6th place teams are seeded into the Lower Bracket of the Double-Elimination bracket. Throughout the tournament, matches are played in a Best-of-3 format, with the exception of the Grand Final which is contested as a Best-of-5 series.
