SEA Kappa: Taken Fnatic's win streak? Fnatic takes your first place

The SEA Kappa invitational season one has recently ended with Fnatic taking first place after being knocked into the loser's bracket.

Shocking the world, after their unexpected 0-2 loss to Signature.Trust ended their 24 official game win streak, Fnatic managed to regain their composure and managed to crown themselves the winner of the SEA Kappa Invitational. With this victory, Fnatic walk home with the $7,500 first place prize and Signature.Trust settle with the second place's $2,500 prize.

Both teams seem to have gone into the best-of-five with a plan they did not want to deviate too much from. Signature.Trust were repeating their late-game orientated style of play that resulted in a 2-0 of Fnatic in the winner bracket final, and Fnatic played within their comfort zones, picking up ganking supports for Djardel 'Dj' Mampusti and tempo controlling heroes for Zheng 'MidOne' Yeik Nai.

Game one went well for Signature.Trust as they were able to drag the game out to the 50 minute mark and allow Pipat 'Lakelz' Prariyachat to carry them to victory. Despite starting the series well, Signature.Trust were unable to win the next three games due to Fnatic trading kills in team fights more efficiently and drafting line-ups which allowed for early pressure on Lakelz.

This 3-1 victory makes Fnatic the first victor of the SEA Kappa Invitational's first season, details on the second of four planned seasons are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
