Kuku swaps Mineski for TnC

Former Mineski carry Carlo 'Kuku' Palad was officially announced today, April 11th, as a new member of TnC Pro Team.

Carlo 'Kuku' Palad has been playing carry for the Mineski squad for a year, but came to the attention of the wider world with Mineski’s Frankfurt Major run. Although the Filipino power-house had a very good year with Kuku in the carry role, they’ve decided to start the Manila Major and The International 6 journey without him and locked in the Spring roster with Ryan 'Bimbo' Jay Qui in position one.

Left without a team in the most important part of the year, Kuku has been spotted playing as a stand in for TnC at ESL One Frankfurt SEA qualifiers and today at the BTS Series SEA Season 4 grand finals, played against Fnatic.

After losing TnC the best-of-five grand finals series today, the organization officially welcomed Kuku to their team a few hours later .

This is a golden opportunity for our team to become stronger. Kuku is one of the best talents our country has and he is more than welcome in our organization.

- Eric Redulfin, TheNet.Com’s General Manager -

However, nobody will be replaced from TnC with this new acquisition. Gio 'WinterGSmallSon' De Ocampo momentarily has to deal with health conditions that will prevent him from playing, and therefore will be relegated to substitute role until he recovers.

TnC Pro Team roster from position 1 to 5:

Philippines Marc Polo Luis 'Raven' Fausto
Philippines Linuel 'Teehee' Abanto
Philippines Sam 'Sam H' Hidalgo
Philippines Nico 'Eyyou' Barcelon
Philippines Carlo 'Kuku' Palad
Philippines Gio 'WinterGSmallSon' De Ocampo - /Sub

Philippines Claurice 'Klo' Sta.Ana - Sub/Manager
Philippines Paulo 'Pau' Sy - Coach

Undergoing a roster change after the Spring shuffle roster deadline forces TnC to go through the open qualifier gauntlet in the SEA regional qualifiers for the Manila Major and The International 6.

Will this high risk decision of TnC yield an immediate high reward for them?

Kuku is a good carry, but TNC's lineup already has three good position 1 through 3 players. It's cool that he's found a new team, but maybe this wasn't the best team for him to join. Time will tell.

uhm there's many notable players from position 1 and 2 that transisted to support position and come up with a great outcome. if he has a strong will to pursue his career, he must acknowledge something new to him and develop some potential on that role. Time will tell if he can shock again the world of dota scene, but from a different position.

Mineski in a nutshell. If the Unckickable Vash dont like a player in the team or the player go against him, his wife will do the dirty work.

Good news for kuku then we'll see in future tournaments. But for me i think kuku fits perfectly in Rave. He's a very skilled mid player.

when i saw him in TnC, i thought "yeah, he can be their Chrissy" - that talented mid turned greedy support which has been working out for Fnatic. but i agree with you. Rave is also missing their Chrissy mid and they'd definitely improve with Kuku there.
