XBOCT no longer with Team Empire

After nearly three months with Team Empire, Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich has been released from the roster. His replacement is still to be announced.

XBOCT joined Team Empire a few days before the Game Show Global e-Sports Cup, and carried the team to victory in front of their homeland fans in Moscow at the end of the last year.

Despite losing Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok to Digital Chaos at the beginning of February this year, Team Empire managed to qualify for DotaPit Season 4 LAN and ESL One Manila LAN. After Resolut1on’s departure, Team Empire made a role swap and placed Ilya 'ALOHADANCE' Korobkin in the carry position while XBOCT took the offlane role and he embraced the new position with confidence.

However, last night the announcement of XBOCT being released from the team came, without any reasoning for the decision. In two weeks time, Team Empire will travel to Split, Croatia to participate at the LAN playoffs of DotaPit. It is expected that the new roster will be announced a few days before this event starts.
