VP or VG must go home after day 1 playoff... so sad...
    • J "sundog" J ,
Yeah, so sad indeed. Since the loser of VP vs Vici will be getting 13th-16th ranking in this major, I think the losing team will have to play through the qualifiers in the next (spring) major).

Man, I want VP to win but i feel for VG ... they're the China pride apart from LGD. Not sure what EHOME is doing either, but if they really play bad again like they did in the group stage, then it's all over for them unfortunately. It's going to be a super big upset if EHOME just gets eliminated imo, since they were the most expected team at this Major.

I heard from a redditor that the chinese teams always have a rough time in tournaments that are scheduled near post-chinese new years because they couldn't practice with all the celebrations and stuff. Kappa

This time, The Chinese teams really got screwed at big time. Hope they are gonna pull it together in the coming matches. Otherwise it's gonna be a really tough year for them, maybe worse than they did during 2015. because this is the Major which can determine the invitation outcome.

It is so mind-boggling that TI6 is only about 5 months away. No idea how they can squeeze in another major in between Shanghai and Seattle. Considering qualifiers, group stages and main events that would be a hell lot of games to be played. Unless TI6 will be pushed back to September I do not see this happening.
