The Chinese DotA Organization ACE fined Vici Gaming's Offlaner Iceiceice for not wearing the team's jacket during a match in the MarsTV DotA League.ACE controls both League of Legends and DotA2 in China; from player contracts to team schedules, it prevents poaching as well.
Don't be confused, the tournament organizers didn't fine the Singaporean player but the National eSports Authority of China did. The total amount of the fine was $2,000. It is not uncommon for "real" professional players to get such fines but this doesn't happen often in eSports.
china ACE just fined us 2k for dumb stuff, yay.
