Smash rejoins Revenge, might contest the upcoming American qualifiers for TI4

In a surprising turn of event, Valve has decided to allow Revenge Esports to participate in the upcoming The International 2014 qualifiers after the team voluntarily withdrew from the tournament three days ago.

As reported earlier this week, Bryan Freddy 'SmAsH' Sina left Revenge Esports shortly after his team withdrew from the upcoming American qualifiers for The International 2014 citing Valve's decision of not allowing them to participate with Iwo 'Iwo' Bejar Kalinowski, captain of Union Gaming and former Revenge player, instead of Benjamin 'Benjaz' Lanao Barrios, the player who replaced Iwo.

In retrospect, Bryan left Revenge Esports to pursue his career path in a different team followed by Alex 'Masoku' Davila, who took his leave from the team as well. However, in an email sent to Ricardo 'mstco' Roman by IceFrog, it was revealed that Valve is ready to bend the rules a bit and allow Revenge to participate in the qualifiers, provided, they play with the original roster without Iwo.

The email stated the following:

Hi Ricardo,

We would love for your team to be able to participate and would be willing to extend the qualifiers to 11 teams to make it work. However, we can only do this if you keep your previous roster without Iwo. Does this work for you guys?

With Smash and Masoku back on board, the team might very well contest in the eleven teams American TI4 qualifiers although it is unknown whether or not Benjaz has given his consent to play alongside the team, who originally wanted to replace him with Iwo. Without Benjaz, the team will be unable to participate in the qualifiers.
