The local qualifiers of the SEA countries have concluded, and 16 teams have emerged victorious from their respective single-elimination bracket. These teams will have the chance to grab a spot in ESL Asian finals, via the SEA Battle Royale groupstage.

The ESL One LAN finals are fast approaching, and eight of the strongest teams in the world will travel to Frankfurt, Germany to battle for the massive $150,000. the ESL organization gave the chance to all DotA teams, amateur and professional, to join Na'Vi and Alliance in the tournament finals, with extensive regional qualifiers for the East and West.

When it comes to SEA teams, local online qualifiers were held for each country, using a single-elimination bracket to determine the 16 strongest SEA participants. These teams will be the competitors of the Battle Royale, the main SEA qualifier for ESL One. The squads will form four groups (round-robin format) and the top two of each group will advance to the single elimination bracket playoffs.
