The organisers behind ASUS ROG DreamLeague have released details regarding the first season of the ambitious DreamLeague project. They have also revealed the implementation of a compendium styled community funding, similar to the one implemented during The International 2013.
The first season of DreamLeague is around the corner, slated to begin on March 03, 2014, live from DreamHack’s brand new TV-studio in Stockholm, Sweden with matches being broadcasted every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the upcoming weeks until the offline LAN finals that will be held in Jonkoping, Sweden.
This season, DreamLeague boasts a massive prizepool of $100,000 and entails the services of twelve participating teams situated across Europe and North America. The season will be played over 9 weeks and will contain 84 action packed league matches. The tournament format is structured in such a way that every participating team will face other participating teams atleast once.
Furthermore, within the Division all teams will face each other one additional time more. At the end of the online season, top six placed teams in the league standings will move on to the LAN Playoffs at DreamHack Summer 2014. The last team in each division will have to re-qualify to the league for Season 2.

League Compendium
League compendium will be available to the community in two different prices; $7.50 and $9.99 - out of which 25% will be added to the prizepool. The compendium will also boast of 10 stretch goals from GD Studio along with workshop items created by Danidem and Hunter.
Furthermore, the compendium will also come along with a Fantasy League. The compendium holders will be able to select and draft their favorite players and challenge friends to have the DreamLeague Fantasy team throughout the season.
Lastly, all league matches will be broadcasted in English by the GD Studio on their Twitch channel. Simultaneously, Swedish broadcast will be provided by Drayich and Bogdan on TV6Play.
