Titan negates Mineski's advantage, champion-deciding Bo3 coming up next

Titan scored two wins against Mineski on the the last day of the ACG 2013 Dota 2 tournament to negate the Filipino team's upper bracket advantage. They will be playing another best-of-three match around an hour from now, wherein the winner will be crowned the champion of The Asia.

The pressure is on Titan, as they have to win two best-of-threes to win the title. They seem to be very composed under pressure though, as they continued their strong performance from yesterday. After two straight series wins against Startale and MiTH.Turst, they scored another pair of wins against Mineski. Despite coming from the lower bracket, it seems that Titan is the favorite. Everything else is now thrown out the door, as the next series will decide the champion.

Not only is the next series the decider of the champion, it will also put a team ahead on the rivalry these two teams are having. They are currently 5-5 on their last ten official matches, dating back since the finals of the GMGPL SEA grand finals.

Game 1

Titan went with a Lone Druid mid, a hero known on keeping up with an Outworld Destroyer. Mirana, which served as Titan's bane on their UB semifinals match, was picked again by Mineski but this time as a support hero.

It was Mineski who scored the first blood, but Titan was the team who had the early game gold and experience advantage because of their jungling Enchantress. The carries traded farm - Naga with his early Midas and the Storm with an early Orchid. The story was on the middle lane though, where most of the kills early on transpired. Lone Druid, an extremely level dependent hero, was able to snatch the kills for his teams behind a number of entangles. By the 13th minute, he already had eight kills which he leveraged for a 16-minute radiance.

The Malaysian team took Mineski's last tier-2 tower on the 18th minute. They use the massive map advantage to get Roshan with virtually no challenge from Mineski. Despite Naga farming up her Radiance on the 21st minute, Titan had already put a a good advantage which includes a 7-0 tower score. Mineski tried to turtle, but Titan was just too far ahead. The Filipino team called GG on the 33rd minute, with the notable fact that Titan's towers are still all intact.

Game 2

Mineski went with another Mirana, this time having her on the carry position. Titan witched up roles on the hero again, this time putting their Storm on the middle lane. It was the Malaysian team who took the first blood on this game though, as Weaver dived deep into Mineski's bottom lane to kill Timbersaw. Weaver also wisely denied himself on the ancient camp, but he seemingly forgot to use up his gold.

Most of the action were happening on the bottom lane. Titan is once again pulling ahead on experience and gold because of the jungling Chen. Mineski clearly lacked lockdown, as they failed time-and-time again to kill the Weaver and the Storm on multiple-hero ganks. By the 20th minute, Titan already had all of the tier-1 towers and a commanding 10,000 gold lead.

Mineski had a minor victory on the 25th minute mark as Titan got greedy and dove past the tier-3 towers, killing four heroes and claiming the Rosh. Titan was just too far ahead though, and there was nothing Mineski could do to stop Titan on team fights. The BKB's Storm and Weaver just kept jumping in on the middle of skirmishes, with the latter even proceeding to build a Rapier.

The winner of the next series will receive $15,000, while the loser will receive a modest $9,000.
