Blitz moves to Korea to become a professional player. Team undisclosed

William 'Blitz' Lee stated that he will be going to Korea to become a professional player. He did not disclose which team he will be joining in Korea but we can confirm that he is not joining E'oT. He is also most possibly not joining FXOpen.

William 'Blitz' Lee, a professional Dota 2 player and currently a famous streamer, stated that he will be going to Korea to become a professional player.

In Blitz's 1,300 words post on Team Liquid's forum, he stated that he had a brief talk with FXOpen player Yong Min 'Febby' Kim at The International 3 and the conversation eventually developed into himself going to Korea. Later on, Blitz approached another undisclosed Korean team and the team gave him the green light.

"I'm still not sure what I've gotten myself into, but I think of it more as a chance to play competitively, see my family, and above all else force myself to commit to something," Blitz wrote. "I've always half assed everything so I figure by actually going to Korea I'd have to make it or break it".

The only question remaining is, who will Blitz join? Although the post did mention that he will be joining FXOpen, we asked Hyung Seop 'Choya' Lee, coach of FXOpen about Blitz and he stated, "We have some plans but it is not fixed,". Choya also said that Blitz talked to Tae Won 'March' Park about the possibility of joining FXOpen a month ago but he has not heard anything since. Our Korean source told us Blitz also said no to FXO.

Furthermore, our friends from Eyes of the Tiger (E'oT) told us that they have removed Ki Kim 'Devilelf' Jeong from the team a few days ago. Curious on whether they replaced Devilelf with Blitz, we asked E'oT's management about Blitz and they told us they did not talk to Blitz at all.

The mystery remains, which Korean team will Blitz be going to? Is it a sponsored team like MVP and Startale (formerly known as BirdGang) or a new unsponsored team? We are still trying to reach out to more Korean teams for further clarification of the matter.

Blitz and his new team are very likely to participate in the upcoming Nexon Sponsorship League season one, starting on the 28th of September.

Blitz formerly played for Root Gaming and Turtle Masters. They finished fifth in Group C, one placing short of making the playoffs of The Defense 3. He started his own Twitch channel and in a few months, it has grown from one viewer to a few thousands. Blitz was also casting in BeyondTheSummit's studio before The International 3.
