Kaipi and Natus Vincere are the two finalists for The Defense 4

With a 2-1 win against Evil Geniuses, Kaipi will join Natus Vincere in the Grand Final of the Defense 4. The swansong for this version of The Defense is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, at 19:00 CEST, when the two teams will clash for the $25.000 prize pool.

It took three games for Kaipi to take down Evil Geniuses, but the Europeans came out in the end, winning the series with a score of 2-1, joining Na'Vi in the grand finals. Kaipi will now face the Ukrainians once again, and it will be interesting to see whether Kaipi's unconventional drafting will be enough to stop the former International champions.

The other finalist, Natus Vincere, reached the final with a narrow 2-1 win against Kaipi in the Winners bracket. Kaipi, playing with SingSing as a stand-in for the absent ComeWithMe, used Spirit Breaker twice in the best-of-three match-up, earning a 14-minute win in the second game. However, Natus Vincere were able to counter the strategy the second time, winning the final game to earn a spot in the final.

The grand final of The Defense Season 4 is scheduled for the 24th of July, at 19:00 CEST. The last match of the tournament will be in a best-of-five format, and the two competitors will battle for the grand prize of $12.000. The loser of the grand final will bring home $7.000, while Evil Geniuses and Liquid will settle for $4,000 and $2.000 consecutively

All the games will be streamed live by TobiWan.
