The first online qualifiers for the ASUS Rog Dreamhack Summer Dota 2 tournament has been played out and it is all Swedish as TCM Gaming and 4FC qualify.
TCM-Gaming.Dota2 is the first team to qualify via the online qualifiers of the Dreamhack Summer tournament in 2013, followed by 4 Friends + Chrillee. Over the course of the past two days, the two mainly Swedish teams played in a double elimination bracket. TCM managed to fight their way through the Upper Bracket and it was them who pushed 4FC into the lower bracket. A 2-1 win over eL'Pride sealed the deal and the team qualified for their first LAN tournament. 4Friends+Chrillee bounced back and went for a 2-0 straight win over eL'Pride, securing their third consecutive Dreamhack participation.
Both teams put the list of teams one step closer to completion as there are a total of 12 teams now - with dd.Dota having been invited just recently - that have received a slot for the Dreamhack Summer Dota 2 tournament.
