Dreamhack announces invites and qualifiers

One of the most prestigious Western LAN events has announced its invites and qualifiers. Six teams have been added to the invite list of Dreamhack ASUS ROG Dota 2 tournament. Na'Vi, mousesports, Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, Evil Genuises and Fnatic will join both Alliance and Team Dignitas in June.

Dreamhack Summer has announced six more teams for it's ASUS ROG Dota 2 tournament. Powerhouses Natus Vincere, Evil Genuises, mousesports, Virtus.pro, Fnatic.eu and Team Liquid have now been invited to join title defender Alliance and Dreamhack Invitational runner-up Team Dignitas at the LAN event in Jönköping, Sweden.

One more team will be invited, one will qualify through the Techlabs Cup this weekend and four teams will battle it out online in two seperate qualifiers. The Techlabs Cup winner has not been formally determined yet, but as Na'Vi is already invited, PowerRangers will most likely either earn the slot directly, or inherit it as Techlabs' runner-up team. The first qualifier will be held in one week from May 25th-26th and the second one from June 1st-2nd. Both qualifiers hold space for 64 teams each and will be played out in a double elimination format.

The final two slots will be determined via the Bring-Your-Own-Computer (BYOC) live at the LAN event.
