ESL Pro League Season 23 is a Counter-Strike 2 tournament organized by ESL, featuring a multi-stage structure that transitions from an online phase to an offline final in Stockholm, Sweden. The competition involves 24 teams from around the world and offers a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD. The tournament begins with an Online Stage divided into two phases. In the first phase, 16 teams compete in a Swiss System format with all matches played as a Best-of-3, where the top 8 teams advance. These advancing teams then join 8 additional directly invited teams in a second Swiss Stage, from which the final 8 teams qualify for the LAN Finals. The Playoffs feature an 8-team Single-Elimination bracket held at the Annexet in Stockholm. The Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and a Third-Place decider match are played as Best-of-3 series, while the Grand Final is a Best-of-5 to determine the season champion.
