The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 (Counter-Strike 2), organized by StarLadder, features a structure of three Swiss-system stages followed by a knockout playoff. Each of the first three stages involves 16 teams, and all matches are Best-of-1, except for the crucial elimination and advancement games which are Best-of-3─teams that achieve three wins advance, while those that suffer three losses are eliminated.
