The fans of CS:GO will never be bored in the wake of the New Year. StarLadder and GG.Bet organize a winter cup—GG.Bet Winter Cup that kicks off on December 24th with the final game being played on of January 5th, 2020. GG.Bet Winter Cup will bring together 10 invited teams and will be held in three stages. The tournament will start with the group stage with the Double Elimination format with Best-of-3 matches, except the final, which will be held in Best-of-5 format. Eight teams will be divided into 2 groups, 4 in each. The winners of each group will advance straight to the Playoffs, while the teams placed 2nd and 3rd will fight in the next stage—Last Chance. This stage will also be held in the Double Elimination bracket, however, it won’t have the final match, as the strongest two teams will be invited directly to the Playoffs.
