ECL playoffs starts tomorrow, DK already in the final

The round robin stage of Esports Champions League is done with Team DK taking top seed. The bubble race format playoffs start tomorrow with Titan going up against TongFu.

The second day of Esports Champions League wrapped up earlier today, with Invictus Gaming playing all six of their games in one day. Seemingly, they are the only team who can snatch victories away from Team DK and managed to do so again today, with an aggressive and tanky Enchantress + Dragon Knight duo and Ferrari on his ever so devastingly snowballing Storm Spirit. However, this was only after DK shut iG down completely in the first game, making it a draw between the teams. Invictus continued the day playing a best-of-two versus TongFu followed by a best-of-two versus Titan. IG struggled a bit in most of those games and dropped a game to TongFu, but managed to turn the other games around eventually, finishing with a total score of 4-2 for the day. One full victory and two draws will net them 5 points, which is enough to take the second place of the group above TongFu (4 pts) but below DK (7 pts).

Titan changed around their ranks slightly today as XTinCt was seen doing the drafts instead of Meracle, the otherwise regular drafter. WinteR mentioned on the live stream that Titan have not been able to practice much lately, which might be the reason why they were changing their drafter in the middle of a tournament. Nevertheless, it did not score them any points despite Titan putting up a good fight in both games versus iG.

The bubble race playoffs starts tomorrow with the first match being Titan going up against TongFu at 09.45 CET scheduled time (16.45 SGT). There will be a break after the first game of the best-of-three series, as the tournament has been suffering from some delays so far due to it having a very optimistic schedule. The winner will move on to play Invictus Gaming on Monday while Team DK awaits in the winner of the semi-final on Tuesday. Matches are casted by Basskip and WinteR over at BeyondtheSummit's channel.
