6,000 Euro to the winner of ENC * New format

12,500 Euro is in the total prize pool of the European Nations Cup. The winning team walks home with 6,000 Euro.

The prize money distribution was just announced for the fourth European Nations Cup event. The total prize sum for all the three games WarCraft 3, Counter-Strike and FIFA is 50,000 Euro. The WarCraft 3 tournament has been given 12,500 Euro, where the winner gets 6,000 Euro.

Hosted at the Games Convention in Germany, the offline finals features the top four teams going at it for the title of the European champions. Last season Sweden won, defeating Bulgaria in the Grand Final.

The ESL administration just announced their new format of the European Nations Cup. It reminds very much of the Extreme Masters format. The top six nations will be automatically qualified for the regular season.
- Just like in Extreme Masters by ESL there will be different stages of qualifying. In every stage 12 teams will fight for Top 6 to enter the next round. So after 3 stages we have found the last countries who can showed the best performance, you can read at the ENC site.

In the end, the top six from the qualify will join the already six qualified teams for the regular season.
- The new mode will bring more competition to the teams and more entertainment to the audience, Soodi writes in the official newspost.
