Q: Good day, ReMinD. As a famous NE player and WCG2010 champion, you have garnered lots of attention from China. Can you give a short introduction to your fans from China?

A: Hello everyone. I'm WCG2010's champion, ReMinD, and I'm currently in Beijing preparing for the competition below.

Q: Thanks for your introduction. You're one of the veteran players of WC3, but the current scene is getting rather stagnant. Can you tell us what your goals are for 2011?

A: I hope to play in as many tournaments as I can, as well as play some great matches. I also hope to play in WCG again.

"I've played SC2 before but don't find it interesting. It could be due to the fact that the Hero system in WC3 is something that I find so interesting. To me, WC3 is the best RTS around."
Q: You're still active in Zotac and are still getting some great results. What's your secret to keeping your form all these years?

A: Firstly, ever since BN has become a less than stellar place to practice, Zotac became my new training grounds, since I can find a lot of high tier players to play with there. That doesn't mean that I have always kept the motivation to play, though - I've lost the fire once in a while. My only difference is that I find the motivation to play again after a while. I've played SC2 before but don't find it interesting. It could be due to the fact that the Hero system in WC3 is something that I find so interesting. To me, WC3 is the best RTS around. I can't say how I keep playing in form, but I always find the will to get stronger in order to become perfect.

Q: I remember your game against Empire.Jade on Turtle Rock from Zotac a while back. You were at a big disadvantage but you weren't nervous at all. You made some crucial decisions and made an amazing come back. During that time you had no income, nor did you have a good army. What were you thinking then?

A: Jade's performance was pretty unexpected - I was totally shocked. At the start of the game, it seemed like I was in control of things, but suddenly I fell into a trap and the tide turned. Towards the later stage of the game, he was unable to protect his heroes, which caused a few deaths and was his biggest mistake. I think that if he played better, such as when I was expanding when I was down, I wouldn't have been able to make a comeback. This is my best "comeback" moment in my whole WC3 career.

"I found out that when playing against Orc, the only way to win is to minimize your mistakes, control your army properly, and protect your heroes."
Q: You're very good at playing against Orcs. What's your secret?

A: When I played against Orcs in the past, I didn't find anything different. Then I found out that when playing against Orc, the only way to win is to minimize your mistakes, control your army properly, and protect your heroes. I'm still not too happy with how I am against Orcs, but it's a lot better than before and I have improved a lot.

Q: Focus and Violet are still rather active in WC3. Can you tell us a little about them?

A: I can't say Violet is still active since he has started playing SC2 and even joined a SC2 team with the intention of playing in GSL. If there were more tournaments in WC3, I am sure he would have stayed active in the scene, so it is unfortunate it never happened. Focus is playing both WC3 and SC2 as well, but I can say that he is into WC3 more - he still plays in Zotac weekly as well as some Korean tournaments such as IDK and WTL. It's safe to say that Focus will continue to be seen in this year's WC3 tournaments.

Q: Is Space still healthy? Chinese fans are really worried about him.

A: Sad to say I don't have any current info about it. I've asked a few people such as Focus before but got nothing conclusive.

Q: Your good friend Soju once said that on 15th April, which is today, he will make a comeback. How is he now?

A: Indeed, he officially finishes army today. Soju is back to WC3 training, and he has also partnered up with me in some 2v2 games. I feel that he is in pretty good form right now.

Q: That's great news! Now let's move to some bad news - it's already May, but there are still no dates for CEPL. What are your thoughts on CEPL?

A: Indeed. CEPL has been delayed for a while now and I feel really disappointed with it. Surely they know that they have been making me wait since the start of the year. I'm still hoping that it starts soon.

"Now, WC3 is already in the "old" stages where everyone copies how the top players have been playing, so I don't see much of a difference now. "
Q: You've been winning Zotac for the past few weeks. Have you played with some of the players in China these few days? What's the difference between Chinese players and foreign players?

A: Indeed, although I haven't been playing the Chinese players for too long. At the early and middle ages of the WC3 scene, there is definitely a big difference between the Chinese and the foreign players. But right now, WC3 is already in the "old" stages where everyone copies how the top players have been playing, so I don't see much of a difference now.

Q: Let's talk a little about ECL, shall we? Whats your goal for ECL?

A: I've never had good results in past ECL. Will it be the same this time around? Of course I hope that it won't, but I'll just play how I usually play and believe I can reach the finals.

Q: What's your ECL top three predictions?

A: Infi, Th000, and either me or Fly. But this is all unknown. If the brackets somehow let the best players meet up, then it will be completely different.

Q: Thanks a lot for the interview. Anything you'd like to say before we end?

A: As a WC3 fan, I am of course very happy to be able to see some WC3 tournaments. I will continue to work hard in hopes of getting some great results in future ones. Thank you!
