"I thought about it a long time ago. When I quit SK-Gaming and was clanless the thoughts of retirement struck my mind," ReiGn tells GosuGamers.

"I told myself 'I will stop after this event' for every event I participated in, but I did not decide to retire until now, in this XP League season," says the merited Undead player.

A comeback for StarCraft 2 is not to expect from Kang.

"I was satisfied to live as a progamer, and I'm delighted that I got to be a part of such a rare experience with people who I met in my progamer life -- but there will be no 'progamer ReiGn' after my Warcraft 3 career."

"When I started my progamer life, I didn't consider playing any other game after WarCraft 3 at all," says ReiGn.

"With me retiring, there is only one remaining [Korean] Undead player: Space. Please support him and I hope new talented Undead players will come along so the Korean WarCraft 3 scene will be more prosperous."

ReiGn has been around for a very long time, and has been a part of the very successful group of Koreans who hailed in both World Elite and SK-Gaming. Despite being a high class player through his long career, he has never claimed a big eSports title.

Seo Woo Kang managed to grab a second place in the televised Sonokong OnGameNet WarCraft 3 League back in 2003, as well as in the fourth season of Prime League in 2004. His other merits include a fourth place in Electronic Sports World Cup 2008, third place in 2005's OnGamenet WarCraft 3 TFT Invitational, and a fourth place in the second season of NiceGameTV War3League.

"When I quit SK-Gaming in 2009 I could not show good games for my fans, and I'm very sorry for my fans who supported me," says ReiGn and ends with saying he hope only good things for the WarCraft scene.
