Jonatan "Loda" Berg's whereabouts and future such have been discussed and a hot topic recently. Yesterday, he cleared things out on his Lodalicious blog, discussing the AEON.ru case as well as Heroes of Newerth.

"I was only an AEON.ru standin"
The long-time DotA veteran and poster-boy of European DotA who left the former fnatic squad, was linked together with AEON.ru after some stand-in sessions.

- "I was only a standin for AEON.ru because pgg asked me, and I enjoy playing with that bunch of Russians, even if we have a hard time understanding eachother sometimes," says Loda, "I would never leave my old team without talking it through with all of them, but since we had at long last left fnatic, thank god, and with my team staying in China for a while I did not see the problem with playing as a standin for another team."

A week ago, we reported that Loda joined a Heroes of Newerth team, playing in the Check-Six Sidewinder tournament. In his blog, Loda tones down the seriousness of this HoN thrust.

Heroes of Newerth not a switch
- "HoN will not be a game I will take serious for a long while, It's not like I've signed a contract with anyone or something like that," explains Loda. "As I've said before I'm helping my IRL mate POLISEN with his team, and tbh this would never be a team I would choose if it wasn't friendship involved."

He also criticises the people saying he switched games because he is playing Heroes of Newerth.

"Saying I switched game because I'm playing HoN is like saying 'Loda leaves DotA for Dragon Age' because I imagine I've spent 10x times more time on this awesome RPG than on HoN," he said.
