Following the departure of Dear and being reduced to just four players, team SouL announce disbandment.
Just one month after they became Proleague champions, hard times came for SouL. On August 31st, the STX corporation dropped the sponsorship of the team, heavy news that also came with the departures of Mini, Classic, Innovation and Calm. What followed was a transfer to eSF and one subpar performance in the GSTL, leading to a last-place finish with 2-6 in series and -7 indicator.
SouL lost even more players this month. On December 14th, Trap left to join Incredible Miracle and just yesterday Dear announced his move to Mousesports. That reduced SouL's roster to just four players and so the disbandment news do not come as big surprise.
This leaves a question on the line-up for the next GSTL. Even if Axiom-Acer retain their joint roster cooperation, there are just four teams that can enter the tournament, including Azubu, StarTale and fOu.
