Samsung head coach January leaves team

After almost ten years of working with Samsung KHAN (renamed to Samsung Galaxy this year), head coach Kim "January" Ga Eul announced that she'll be leaving the team, Daily Esports report. According to the source, this doesn't mean Kim's retirement but rather a moving on to new opportunities.

January joined Samsung KHAN in 2004 - four years after team's creation - and has lead the roster to all of its significant achievements in team and individual leagues alike. Under her mentorship, Samsung took the 2008 Shinhan Bank Proleague gold and placed second at the 2007 and 2011-2012 Season 2 editions of the same tournament. The Samsung school has also nurtured renowned StarCraft talent such as two-times OSL champion Jangbi (2011 and 2012), 2008 Blizzard invitational champion and back-to-back-back WCG grand finalist (2007, 2008, 2009) Stork and 2013 GSL Season 1 champion RorO.
