Jeffrey "Sjow" Brusi has departed from Dignitas - the team that has been home since 2010 - due to his contract expiring and will now act as a free agent.

Sjow had a very strong opening of year 2011, coming out as the IEM World Champion after defeating WhiteRa in Kiev. Since then, however, the Swedish terran had troubles achieving successful results at a large tournament, taking him almost nine months to be crowned a major champion once more, grabbing the $12,500 cheque at the IeSF 2011 World Championship.

- "It's sad of course, SjoW has been with us for a long time and we of course wanted him to keep playing for us for the next season. Unfortunately we were a bit too far apart in the negotiations so SjoW chose to test his wings. He's great and will hopefully keep playing really well," writes Fredrik "Newman" Reinius, Community Director of Dignitas on Rakaka.se.
