Team Reign disbands

The existence of American-based StarCraft 2 team Reign comes to an end as today president Frank "Mirhi" Fealds officially announced its dissolution, leaving players such as Kiwikaki, Slush, Axslav, Inori and Artist teamless.
Team Reign was formed mid June 2011, initially housing KiWiKaKi, SLush, Phoenix, Fayth, and Spades. Two months later, Reign acquired IGN as a sponsor while constantly adding more player to the roster, including Artist, Inori and Axslav.
Reign's disbandment comes as a result of them and IGN parting ways, leaving the team without a strong sponsor.
- "Yesterday afternoon Team Reign and IGN decided to part ways, which unfortunately means Reign will now also be disbanding," said Fealds. "Having only existed for a short time, we have not grown enough as an organization to currently be able to provide for our players in the manner we promised without the support of a large sponsor like IGN."
Mirhi also confirmed that Reign will continue playing in the NASTL until the tournament ends or most of the players find new teams to join.

| #4 Wow then you know very little. KiwiKaki is a pretty good protoss. Probably one of the best in NA imo. Slush is a very good zerg and mostly underrated by many which is dumb because hes a very talented player. Everyone else is pretty much semi famous, Artis is pretty damn good too. |

| Reign didnt have any superstars on their team, but all of the players are pretty good. Sad for Artist that he wont attend MLG, the guy has a lot of potential. Axslav has been practicing like a mad man over the last few months and the results are starting to show. Coupled with his friendly personality I think he will be a great asset to any team, hopefully someone picks him up soon. Inori, Kiwi and Slush are all very talented, with good practice I think they can compete at the highest level. |
