Marcus "ThorZaIN" Eklöf is one of the players at home turf, and says he feels more comfortable thanks to that. Learn why he has a horn in the side on the last DreamHack, and what he feels about his opponents.

Thorzain, DreamHack must be a special event for you, with your history with WarCraft 3 and of course hailing from Sweden. What are your thoughts entering this year's DreamHack tournament?

- I really like DreamHack. It's in Sweden so I can feel more comfortable when I play. DreamHack Summer 2011 was a bit disappointing though, but the other DreamHack's I have been too have been great.

Was last summer's a disappointing experience for you merely because you didn't go through the group stage, or was there anything else? What do you take with you to this event from your past DreamHack experiences?

- It was more about how the tournament was organized from a spectator's point of view. Only the grand finals were played on scene. The tournament was almost completely played out in the "group stage area".

This year they've seemed to go all-in when it comes to coverage. Six casters and even a heart rate monitor for the last games. It seems they've done their lesson - have you made yours? How do you plan to defeat your opponents in the group stage (SeleCT, Abver, Kaeru)?

- To be honest I haven't prepared for DreamHack at all. I just yesterday found out about the groups and haven't been practicing specifically for these opponents yet.

What do you think of your opponents? Have you played your fellow Swede Kaeru anything? And you must know Abver since the WarCraft 3 days. How do you rate the difficulty of your group?

- I don't know Kaeru. SeleCT is a great player and hard to beat. Abver I've lost to in the ladder I think and he's a pretty good player as well. Anything is possible, I hope that I will make it through though.

How do you feel your shape is right now? Any special matchups you're struggling with or that you feel you've made a breakthrough in?

- I think that all my match ups are at about the same level at the moment.

This event will sort of "sum up" the European StarCraft 2 year. How do you feel this year has been for you? What will you take with you in 2012?

- It could have gone better it could have gone worse, as always. I will just try to keep improving and see what 2012 has to offer when we get there.

Finally, which players do you see as a main threat for the title?

- I don't really know a lot about what players are attending. But any Korean and players like Stephano are always a threat to anyone.

The last words are yours!

- Just a shoutout to mousesports and Intel, Medion, GeIL, Razer, Sansibar and Thortech! Thank you for the interview!
