ASSEMBLY Summer begins tomorrow, €15,000 on the line

Just one day keeps us from one of the biggest offline events in Europe. ASSEMBLY Summer will revisit Helsinki, Finland with 32 players and a tripled prize pool compared to Winter 2011.

The tournament will open with a round robin group stage with the top two in each pool advancing to the single elimination bracket. The winner of it all will bring home the hefty prize of €8,000.

We remind you that in mid-July, six of the invites - Ret, Tarson, White-Ra, Sase, Goody and Strelok - cancelled their spot at ASSEMBLY Summer and have been replaced by other players, namely Bischu, Protosser, Bigs, Seiplo, Fuzer and Sein.

Note that contrary to many other foreign tournaments, Assembly Summer welcomes only one Korean as BroodWar legend and an oGs terran powerhouse Nada will face the foreign elite on his own.

The games will be casted by the British duo TotalBiscuit and dApollo and the start is set to fire off tomorrow, August 4th at 11:00 CET. Don't forget to tune in to the GosuGamers.net coverage hub as we will keep you posted with everything important around ASSEMBLY Summer 2011.
