- Razer StarCraft 2 GosuCup Qualifier #1 Winner

Congratulations, you qualified for the Razer Starcraft 2 GosuCup. How does it feel?

inFRunA: It feels great, it's been a while since I won something, even though this is just a qualification tournament.

We've seen you taking out a couple of strong Terrans lately. You defeated SjoW at Assembly, and you took our merz earlier in the tournament, and now Beastyqt Would you say PvT your strongest matchup?

inFRunA: At the moment I think it's my strongest match up, yeah.

You tend to go for a lot of macro games, do you think that's what makes you strong versus Terran in particular?

inFRunA: I'm a Brood War player so I have always loved macro play. I think I have good timings and good build in PvT and that makes me a good PVT player.

What went through your mind after game 2? How come you picked Tal'Darim Altar?

inFRunA: I have practiced a lot on that map especially versus Terran, so I felt confident on that map.

You've been in the scene for a while, and witnessed the way eSports has transitioned into in Europe with the StarCraft 2 release. Did you ever think it would grow to be this big?

inFRunA: I knew it would grow fast, and I'm very happy that StarCraft 2 is so successful as an eSport game. I believe it will continue to expand furthermore.

Alright, thank you very much. Any shoutouts or final words?

inFRunA: BEST RACE CANT LOSE ;);) Kidding, shoutout to koprofagen best HoN player in the world!

Interview with Beastyqt
- Razer StarCraft 2 GosuCup Qualifier #1 Runner-up

Congratulations, you qualified for the Razer Starcraft 2 GosuCup. How does it feel?

Beastyqt: Thanks, feels pretty good and I'm hoping to do better in the actual cup.

You've been seen taking first or second place in a lot of online cups, but we have yet to see you make it into the bigger leagues, until now in the GosuCup. What do you think of your recent performance?

Beastyqt: I've been losing a lot of tournaments in semi or finals for the last 2-3 weeks, even though I improved I'm clearly not good enough yet. I'm having problems with the other 2 races at the moment while my TvT is in good shape.

What in your playstyle would you say is the key to all your online cup victories? Would you say you're good at adapting to a broad set of players?

Beastyqt: 99% of my games are macro based games, so the longer the game goes it's better for me. I know the playstyle of most of my opponents so it's easy to adapt my builds to their playstyle in order to get advantage over them.

Tell us about the third game, what went wrong in the deciding attack at the 20 minute mark? Before you wrote 'xDDDD'?

Beastyqt: I've been playing tournaments all day and I'm pretty tired at the moment. I wrote that because it's pretty funny having 200/200 tier 3 army and losing to a tier 1 Protoss army while having better upgrades.

Sundays are usually a really packed day for StarCraft 2 gamers. You've been playing tons of games in GosuCup as well as other events such as SC2CL. Do you feel you have the stamina to play this much without seeing your skill and focus decrease drastically?

Beastyqt: It's pretty hard playing a lot of games in a short amount of time. I usually play worse at the end of the day than in the beggining. If I play only 1 tournament its much easier to focus because you don't play without pausing inbetween the games.

Thank you very much for your time, any shoutouts or final words?

Beastyqt: First I want to thank to all my fans for supporting me it means a lot to me and I want to thank my team - Team Empire and our sponsor Thermaltake for their support!
