Simon "JuNe" Hoffman, Andrew "rANDY" Whittle, Juha-Matti "Satiini" Bäckström and Benoît "Adelscott" Strypsteen advance to the InsideNation National Challenger Cup playoffs after a long day of qualifiers.
The qualifiers for the first edition of the National Challenger Cup have finished, and we have our four players for tomorrow's playoffs.
The German qualifier saw players as iNfeRnaL, Mondragon and rine, but it was the Terran player JuNe who claimed the top position. This after eliminating Mondragon in the semi final, and rine in the grand final.
Adelscott made sure to clinch the final spot in the playoff after an exciting Protoss versus Terran final against AureS ending 2-1 in favour of Adelscott.
United Kingdom saw rANDY defeat his Protoss buddy Zack in the final. rANDY did well already in the previous UK Challenger Cup, furthermore showing his dominance in the United Kingdom. The Englishman, normally playing Zerg, told GosuGamers him playing Protoss was because of hardware issues.
The Scandinavian qualifier was won by the Finnish Terran player Satiini after going through a big wall of Norwegian players. He managed to swipe the win in a convincing manner against Zerg player Snute.
The four will lock horns tomorrow in the playoff phase of the tournament. After a random draw, we have JuNe going up against Satiini, and rANDY against Adelscott.
