Socke, HuK qualify for NVIDIA GosuCup playoff

Chris "HuK" Loranger and Giacomo "Socke" Thüs have advanced to the playoffs after a 458-man bracket in yesterday's NVIDIA GosuCup qualifier.

NVIDIA GOSUCUP EU QUALIFIER #1
1-2.	Socke
1-2.	HuK
3-4.	HasuObs
3-4.	DIMAGA

The Millenium player HuK defeated Dmytro "DIMAGA" Filipchuk in the semi final to reach the grand final and therefore qualify for the upcoming playoffs.

Socke, playing for ALTERNATE aTTaX, could overcome fellow countryman Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider in his side of the semi final bracket.

GosuGamers decided to increase the player cap to 512 which proved to be a successful change, with 458 players attending.

The final between Socke and HuKto determine the seeding position will be played at a later date.

I watched the socke vs hasuobs game yesterday, pretty poor preformance from hasu tbh.

Was expecting a lot more :(

i read the prize is 1.500€ in total. 900 to 1st , 450 to 2nd and 150 to 3rd

People don't realize that Morrow was 1-0 against HuK, but Morrow couldn't finish it because he had to go, so this bracket may very well be different.

Um...from what I saw, I think HuK may have actually thrown some of his loss games in the BO3 matchups just to let the other guy play...the games he won, he absolutely embarrassed his opponents most of the time...One Zerg guy seems to have conceded the match, and didn't even come back for games 2 and 3....

I forget which, but one of his losses vs a T was a "accident" which he told to the audience 'cause he knew it was being streamed, in which he accidentally made a Stargate and fleet beacon. Im not sure which was the initial "accident". Maybe he meant to double stargate into some phoenix and void ray harrass, or maybe he made the stargate by accident and then just said screw it and went for the MS rush so it wasn't a "waste". Even still, it almost worked.
