SearchDreamHack sites hacked - look over your password security

GosuGamers would like to advise every user who has an account at DreamHack.se or Rakaka.se to check your password security and change your password if you have been using the same password on for instance GosuGamers.The DreamHack and Rakaka web servers were hacked yesterday, and the database with usernames, emails and possibly passwords linked to the accounts are now floating around on the web.
If you have an account on any of the following sites below and you have the same password on GosuGamers, we advise you to change passwords.

| #26 I know. Romania and Bulgaria is full of computer hackers. One of my hacker mates lived in Bulgaria his whole life, and made quite abit of money off hacking e-shops and stealing the credit card data. Then he moved to England, and tried to do it again. Police showed up at his door and he went to jail for about 2-4 years. When he eventually got out, he became a drug addict. |

| If it's hacked then it's brocken. It's not the hackers fault it's the software that's not safe enough. An what kind of self-respecting web-page doesn't keep its passwords hashed. I do believe the law also requests it or something... |

| Just one question... when you register your password aren't the coders supposed to save the password in the database crypted in a way so that you can't decrypt it(or atleast being close to impossible). This being the reason why you have to get a new password instead of recieving your old one when you have forgot it, on most of the pages. |
| Guys....lets not fight over this....everybody are entitled to their opinion and choices...if they like HoN/DotA...so be it....no need to Gang-up on other games... The point is...Hacking is illegal...its againts the LAW... Hope they fix the site...haven't visited any of sites anways...^_^ |
