#26 Maybe your card overheat...try look around forums if someone has same problem with your card...

Also ultra here, but don`t like that only 2 of my 4 cores are active in sc2...I would like Blizz to fix that in future...

my 2 year old laptop(lenovo t60, integrated video card) ran it on low with no problems, could have probably tweaked stuff to reach medium levels. i think blizzard has done a nice job enabling the low end computers to run the game.
too bad the game is shit.

Have been in ultra settings in phase 1 but with phase2 the game is slowing sometimes dunno why

Quad core i7 2,6 (but there's only 2core working on SC2)
4gbRam
HD4870 1go on 1920x1080
7 64bits.

#32 windex 3
Dual core 3.16GHz
4gb Ram
Radeon 4870HD 1Go

Though, when second phase started I only had 2 GB active and had spikes even in High. I fixed it and got no problem in Ultra now. So you pretty much need more then 2GB.

Everything seems fine, but i dont wanna install win7 or vista.

I play beta on lowest settings with my XP sp2 lol. No problems so far.
Higher settings drop fps dramatically and freezes game in bigger clashes.

Any one experienced big change after upgrading xp sp2 to sp3?

who cares if u can't play high/ultra. Low is smoother for multiplayer and medium will do for campaign. I can play on high but won't do it.

#41 Joy- 1
Welli don't care about the settings. My computer sucks.. okok I have to play on lowest, but my gaming experience stays exactly the same.
I'm glad i can play it:)

PS: same for dota, lowest graphics (which is comparable to sc2 alot worse) is still as fun as highest:)

#41 So true. U don't need to play full graphic to play well ;) But if it can be a little more beautiful... Why not ? ^^

My processor is slightly greater the recommended specs.

RAM is equal the recommended.

Video is 256MB so twice the minimum, but half the recommended, so I'll probably just have to set video settings low.

A video card that greatly exceeds all specifications can be purchased online for around $70 anyway.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125277

Core Clock 750MHz
Stream Processors 320 Stream Processing Units
Memory
Effective Memory Clock 1600MHz
Memory Size 1GB
Memory Interface 128-bit
Memory Type DDR3

This video card alone is hundreds of times more powerful than the entire PC I first played starcraft and broodwar on. It has double the recommended specs for memory, and probably double the number of core processors, at double the core speed....all for only $70 U.S...plus there's even a $15 mail in rebate...
