Ozmita: 'SCCL is corrupted' *

[s]clan_news[/s]What happened in Playday VI between x6AMD and [3D]? GosuGamers decided to dig deeper, and interview both x6AMD|Ozmita and [3D]Black about the matter. Ozmita accuses SCCL of being corrupted, but what really happened? Read more below!

"3D's Leader and I agreed to postpone ALFA's match because he sometimes can't play until Sunday night, so he agreed." so says Spain x6AMD|Ozmita to GosuGamers about what initially happened in the controversy in ESL Clan League between Spain x6tence.AMD and Russia Danger, Destruction, Death. Ozmita says that they used a verbal agreement, since they had no wildcards available, and that they wanted to keep the match alive. It was obvious that Ozmita had trouble with his lineup, when even he had to step in and play. He lost his own match, making it a tie. At that point was when the trouble started.

No wildcard used - resulting in a loss for x6AMD

"Russian people were talking in their native language, but I was understanding something like "3-2", so I became really curious, since ALFA was planned to play at 22.00 CET", says Ozmita. He contacted the manager of [3D] - [3D]Black, where he found out that the match between ALFA and creAtiv were to result in a loss for x6AMD, because of no wildcard used. The "verbal agreement" was said that ALFA were to show up at 22:00 to play his match at that time. He showed up an hour earlier, but by then creAtiv refused to play ALFA, because they had WGTCL later that night.

Ozmita: "[...] some of them suspect about a possible corruption"

I don't tolerate anybody cheating on x6tence.AMD, so I thought that was the right decission. I couldn't stay in a corrupted league.

- Ozmita
Ozmita then talked to the head administrator of SCCL, Germany LoNiC. Ozmita said that they had a verbal agreement and that they had come to an agreement. He also points out to GosuGamers that LoNiC had been asked if it was possible to have a verbal agreement and no wildcards. GosuGamers have tried to contact LoNiC, but with no luck. "I was given the loss because there were a bunch of lies on 3D's side." he says, and then explains that they left the league because he do not tolerate anyone cheating on x6tence.AMD. "I've talked with some other teams and they had some other problems with admins decisions." he says and adds that "some of them suspect about a possible corruption of some admins". Reason for these suspects in this match, is that [3D]Black is an SCCL administrator.

Will focus on 1on1 with tournaments and other events

9be92732c3c8a13dda3dd73cc554ceea10d30aee2feef2496048cdada3After this, x6tence.AMD are not planning on taking part in any other clanleague in the future. Instead, they are going to focus on their 1on1 players, tournaments and other events. The recently added Korean Zerg duo Korea H.O.T-Forever and Korea Clon (picture) is no longer a part of the team. "Clon has gone to the army, he's left progaming - HOT had some problems with his manager, and there's not much more to do."

[3D]Black: "creAtiv didn't agree to postpone the game without wildcard, and x6AMD didn't get it."

creAtiv played so many games that day and did not want to wait for his opponent.

We contacted the leader of Danger, Destruction, Death - Russia [3D]Black and asked him of the SCCL controversy against x6AMD. He says that they did agree on to postpone the game, but in a draw ALFA must play versus creAtiv. Black also points out that they were in a lot of hurry, considering they had a match in WGTCL later that evening. "creAtiv played so many games that day and did not want to wait for his opponent" he says to GosuGamers. He further says that Ozmita did not give any wildcard, so they got a free game in the match. Over at the ESL Clan League site, a » screenshot has been uploaded, where LoNiC says "ALFA forfeited his games, since no wildcard was set". [3D]Black also points out that Ozmita did not have players enough to substitute ALFA, and that Ozmita himself had to play.
GG.net: You are both an SCCL administrator and the leader of a team that's in SCCL. Don't you think that may cause some trouble, being neutral?

[3D]Black: I haven't any decision as admin in our match and talk with lonic about all moment. When my team playing games i am only teamcaptain. Nothing more. Just LoNiC sometimes offline and use IRC only 10 minutes per day, so other players and teamcaptains need admin who can decide fast troubles / problems or close match and report results. I always think - if not me then who will do it?

Missing their star player Androide

1382f17bb0e307adfe0d1245b2a2b84e25982c2f60828af5f8486b0c9aDanger, Destruction, Death is currently ranked 9th with 12 points, four after Italy Teamplay.it, and will have to take a lot of points in these last couple of playdays. "In this season we just training in SCCL," Black says, "it will be nice training for our players in Europe scene." he says and smiles. [3D] is missing their star player Russia Androide (picture), who retired after World Cyber Games. "We still hope that he will play again" he says. Black also mentions that Strelok is only available to play for them from Playday 9 and forward after being borrowed from Trademark-Gamers.

Update 20:38 - LoNiC: "I don't care that much anyway"

LoNiC claims that x6AMD would have retired regardless - "because of lack of players". When asked what he thought of the accusations of administrational corruption he apologized and said he did not have much time now; "I dont care that much anyway. x6AMD [are] out now and they will not come back into SCCL". He says he is working with the league ten to twelve hours per week and explains that Black is incorrect in saying that LoNiC is only online ten minutes per day on IRC.

LoNiC continues by critizing his administrational team member: "[Black] doesn't understand that he is not the person who should care on changing rules, especially not during the season". On the question why the SCCL administrational team accepted team captains to be administrators and if they should work for neutrality at all times, he replied "Of course... I do the most for this league. But we all are very busy".
