Kunshan, China to host back-to-back WCG grand finals

NeoTV CEO Lin Yu-hsin revealed on his micro blog that Kunshan, China has been chosen as the host city for the World Cyber Games grand finals for both 2012 and 2013."WCG World Finals will finally re-settle in China, six months hard work not in vain," said Lin Yu-hsin.
Following the success of WCG 2009 held in Chengdu, China will once again feature one of the most long-running grand scaled eSport tournaments. Host city Kunshan has close to one and a half million in population and is located close to Shanghai.
With China's immense popularity of WarCraft 3, DotA and StarCraft 2 the two coming years of World Cyber Games a true folk fest.
This year's WCG season will be closed off with a grand final on December 8 in Busan, South Korea.

| The best WCGs I've ever seen were 2008(Germany) and 2009(China). So I think China is the best choise for 2011-2012. |

| all I know about Kunshan is it's near Shanghai,and has a town named Zhouzhuang which renowned with ancient chinese southern buildings and streams. |
| NAH. Hope now, they could take it serious on language and shoutcast problems that happened in WDC and a lot of event that happened to held in China before this. If not, DotA is just not fun anymore to those people without understanding in Chinese language. Please, DotA is not only played by Chinese, whole world is watching. So again, please, let english, russian, and more shoutcasters be part of the shoutcaster team there and spread DotA to the whole world. THANKS! |

| i think wcg is done now, not only because of this but also because of the low price money last year, it has no value anymore, this wcg will be just symbolic tour for wc3 as the last wcg but for sc2 it wont be the same like in broodwar |
