The Legend of the Fall comes back again, as the Protoss AnyTime goes up against NaDa in a thrilling Starleague final. Was Nada going to be the one to win the Starleague three times?

The ShinHan 2 OnGameNet StarLeague final holds quite a history, where expressions such as "Legend of the Fall" and "The Golden Mouse Award". Legend of the Fall goes way back and speaks about the three Starleagues that started during falls. In the fall of 2001, Garimto stopped Boxer's chances of winning the league three times straight. In 2002, Boxer was once again in a Starleague final, this time against another Protoss player - Reach. Reach did just what Garimto had done: stopped Boxer of taking his third Starleauge victory.

Three years later, in the fall of 2005, Boxer faced his Terran student iloveoOv, who also stopped Boxer from claiming the third title. This time, the Fall of 2006, the Terran player NaDa picks up and tries to do what Boxer failed to do. Two Starleague titles and one hell of a comeback in the back for NaDa, while AnyTime is the reigning champion and might keep the Legend alive.

[spoiler]

AnyTime takes the first game on Tau Cross after crippling NaDa's mineral line several times by high templar drops and reavers. The second game was on Paeks of Baekdu, where NaDa noticed the proxy strategies by AnyTime. Third game was on Arkanoid, where NaDa managed to take the win, putting AnyTime in a tough position on the fourth map - Arcadia II. With a 7-4 score in the Starleague favouring Terran, AnyTime's elimination seemed close but yet far away. After showing how good a Protoss can play on this map, and by using Carriers and Dragoons, the players, the managers and most of all the crowd was forced into a last nailbiter, on Tau Cross.

NaDa faking a standard fast expansion with six marines and a tank by adding a Starport in the corner of his base he did in fact go for a vulture drop. AnyTime defends very well, but gets eager and goes for fast carriers. NaDa takes this to his advantage and moves his troops to the Protoss base, vultures and tanks puts an end to AnyTime's reign, and also the Legend of the Fall.
