CEVO will host a North American Last Chance prequalifer this weekend for teams still attempting to secure a spot in the offline qualifier for the upcoming major, MLG Columbus.
This coming weekend, CEVO will host one of its Last Chance prequalifiers for the offline qualifier for the upcoming major, MLG Columbus. The event will be played out online in single elimination, best-of-three matches between North American sides. The winning team will receive a direct invitation to the MLG Major Lan Qualifier to be played out from February 26-28th.
SPLYCE, second place finishers at the MLG Minor Columbus, will receive a first round bye in the event, securing them a spot in the semifinals where they will meet either Torqued or Games Academy.
The event will see the return of Sean "sgares" Gares, who will be playing with the Torqued lineup that includes Mohamed "moe" Assad and Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki. The team will play the Brazilian side, Games Academy, who have been invited to participate in the event due to the lack of qualifiers from the South American region.

CEVO will also host a CIS/European Last Chance prequalifer at the beginning of February with teams to be announced at the conclusion of the MLG Minors for the respective regions.
