EFRAG's Enter The Arena is amping up to be an interesting lineup with old and new faces!
Last weekend we announced the new EFRAG Overwatch tournament starting February 18th, 2017. Now with the matches just around the corner, we have the list of teams attending Enter the Arena: Overwatch. The lineup is consists of quite a few known brands such as: ALTERNATEaTTaX, Counter Logic Gaming, Denial eSports, Renegades, Gale Force eSports, Hammers Esports, Rise Nation, Dignitas and Tempo Storm. Matches are held in Best of 3 format and begin at 4pm PST on Saturday, the 18th. ThePlaysTV will be providing coverage of the Saturday matches on their Twitch channel, and the final rounds will be casted on Sunday over at https://www.twitch.tv/efragtv:
This is a hodgepodge of teams, showing both highly ranked teams and some newcomers. With this display of teams, we can see how much the Overwatch scene has grown. Within the past month or two, we have seen at least 3 new tournaments and continuations of monthly games. At least in North America the talent pool is growing, and though some of these teams are not highly ranked, it's possible they could make their mark in the Arena.
If you'd like to join in on the action, there's still time to gather your group of six! Registration is open until the 18th, and there's no fee!
