SK Gaming with roster change in the bot lane as Forg1ven leaves

Winners of the LCS spring split regular season SK Gaming are in search of a new AD carry as their stellar marksman Forg1ven is set to leave the team.

During the group stages of the recently completed LCS Spring Split 2015, SK Gaming were the best performing team, and a large part of their success was Konstantinos “Forg1ven” Tzortziou. Forg1ven finished as statistically the best AD carry, though he couldn’t quite push his team to an LCS championship.

Earlier this week, Daily Dot reported that Forg1ven has requested a transfer from SK Gaming. The departure seems amicable and based on a mutual agreement. Despite a leadership role being offered to the Greek player by SK, Forg1ven has remained adamant on wanting to leave the team and will have to see which team will express interest in buying him out.

With SK on the look for a replacement, the name of Adrian “CandyPanda” Wübbelmann has appeared. The German AD carry is certainly no stranger to playing under the SK colors, being a part of the team between June ‘11 and June ‘12 and again between December ’12 and October ’14, returning after a short stint with Mousesports. If CandyPanda does come back to SK Gaming, he will be reunited with Christoph “nRated” Seitz.

Although twice a member of SK Gaming, CandyPanda wasn’t team’s first choice for a replacement for Forg1ven, as their eyes were also on Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, who was later reported to be rejoining Fnatic.

Changes in the SK house do not end with the bottom lane, however. In a pair of tweets from yesterday, managing coach Joe “InnerFlame” Elouassi announced his departure from the team, saying this decision was on him and he will be searching for managing employment elsewhere.
