$1 million for fantasy LCS? Yes, pretty cool indeed

The US-based company Vulcun is offering a total of $1 million to those using its platform to play fantasy League of Legend and that's pretty kick ass one has to admit.

Fantasy leagues are nothing new, even in eSports. League of Legends, in particular, is the title around which many such leagues revolved. With an organized structure to its competition, tons of maches played each month and a massive fanbase, one can see the appeal of the game when it comes to translating it to the fantasy league industry.

Vulcun, a newly-founded fantasy eSports company, has also boarded this train but their involvement is quite more substantial. At its launch, Vulcun promised that they'll dole out $250,000 dollars over the course of their season spread across its users. Three weeks later, they've up the ante four times and the new pay-out number is the gigantic $1 million.

Yes, you're reading this right. By following League of Legends closely and being smart in constructing your fantasy team, fans can compete for their share of the seven-digit pool and do it on a daily basis. This is what makes Vulcun different than other fantasy league systems, like those ran by ESL or Riot. While the latter two are focused on a particular season or a tournament, Vulcun offers everyday challenges with different entry fees and prizes, not binding users for a season-long.

At press time, Vulcun has already paid out almost $37,000 between 1,729 fantasy league players.
