Interview with the French Wolf

An interview has been made with the French player Wolf, who is currently in Korea participating in the World E-Sports Games. The interview spins around WEG of course, plus a bunch of other tournaments and some personal information about the young French player.

GG18-Wolf, representing France in World E-Sports Games. His name is Christophe Laporte, and is one of the youngest top players in Europe. He is a Night Elf player and is one of the best players his clan GoodGame has. Unfortunately, we have not seen much from his clan in the WarCraft 3 Clanleague due to the player losings and lack of motivation. When asked on what Wolf's future plans are, he says that he will stay in GoodGame, although he has been offered to join other clans.

In World E-Sports Games Season 3, Wolf qualified to the tournament by ending #4 in the European qualifier. He was placed in Group A, with the WEG champion Spirit_Moon, plus the Chinese xiaOt and the American Boo. Not an impossible group at all to advance from, according to Wolf himself: "I think I can finish #2 but it will be very hard my strongest opponent is of course Moon and my weakest Boo."

In the first playday, Wolf mangaed to beat the Undead player Boo on Bloodhoof and thereby got a nice start, but in playday two he was defeated by the Night Elf Spirit_Moon, and is now placed 2nd in the group stage. His last match in the group play against the Chinese player xiaOt will be very important if he are to advance to the second group stage. Even if he should not advance, he is enjoying himself in Korea. "I enjoy Korea a lot, people are very respectful, their food is nice and so on, as far as I see the tournament is well organised."
