- I was trying to prepare very well and my results against my sparing partners were promising, he says to GosuGamers about his preparation. Full interview below.
What do you think of your performance in the MSL and OSL preliminaries?
- I had a fine day. I was in a normal condition and I wasn't nervous. In PvT matchup I feel very confidence and I played as I prepared my self before and I've won clearly 2-0. In the semi-finals I lost to Hanbit Zerg.
The funny thing is that I played already 4 times preliminaries to OSL and MSL and in all of them I met Hanbit Zerg players. 4 months ago I lost to both of them, yesterday I won against Sasin)Boy and today lost to another Hanbit zerg MenSol. The reason why I lost is simply lack of experience of that kind of players as MenSol who has kind of unique style, much different from my team mate's style so I wasn't prepared at all.
Unluckily for all of the 6 matchups I've already played in Survivor/Dual tournament preliminaries I played 5 times against Zergs and only one of them was not from Hanbit. If it will keep going the same soon Hanbit team will know more about my PvZ than my own team.
A lot of people in the foreign community are very sad that they will not see you on Korean television, which was what they hoped for. How saddened are you about this?
- These preliminaries were very special and important for me but unfortunately I can't say why, maybe soon you will know. Before preliminaries I was trying to prepare very well and my results against my sparing partners were promising. Even though not many people were giving me a good chance for making it to the next round due to last bad results I believed I could make it.
The foreign StarCraft community recently saw your "Heart To Heart" interview. How was it like being interviewed there?
- This day I was very sick, I had a very strong sore throat so I was even considering to not show up for the interview. Anyway I took some medicines and finally decided to show up. It's a little uncomfortable feeling to be interviewed in not my own language, especially when it comes to talk because of course when you write you have more time to think what you want to say. Sometimes I felt a little limited and I'm pretty sure my answers would be better in Polish.
Do you get compared a lot to Grrr..., Legionnaire and ElkY while being there?
- Few times. There were some funny situations when for example I was wearing sunglasses my team mates were calling me Elky. Legendary GiYom is still remembered very well in Korea so there were few times when they mentioned him too.
