The players contracts were up and the eSports organization decided to not renew them. With the 2017 HGC league coming soon, who will pick up the 5 free agents?
Astral authority released this statement on Facebook just moments ago and announced it's release of the current Astral Authority lineup:

Citing that it "was time for something new" the team thanked the players for their "incredible work" over the past few months and the parting seems, at least on the surface, amicable. It is important to note, however, that Astral Authority seems to still have plans for Heroes of the Storm in the future, and dropping their current line-up is not the same as pulling out of the esport all together.
There is no news yet as to whether any of these players will find a new team, but with the recent announcement of Blizzards new 2017 HGC League, it doesn't seem likely that these players are done with Heroes of the Storm.
