MSI MGA 2015: brackets for the first major international Lan finals released.

The best teams in the world are gathering in one place to compete for $50,000 USD in what promises to be the most important Heroes of the Storm tournament in the games history.

Coverage hub - Official tournament website

Take a look at the following bracket.

6 of these teams are among the top 10 ranked teams and they come from all over the world: North America, Korea, Europe, China and even Singapore. This tournament is so stacked, Team Liquid and Tempo Storm HotS, the two top ranked teams in the world, might not even meet in the upper end of the bracket. It truly is a tournament with no clear favorite.

Fans of these top tier teams have a lot to be nervous about. Can Cloud9 Maelstrom survive in a bracket this diverse? Will Team Liquid HotS get over it's warrior meta weakness in time to face Korean and SEA teams that popularized it? Can myRevenge.VS, the team most rationally assigned as the underdog, represent SEA Heroes when it matters the most?

All of this action is taking place during the August 28th-29th lan finals at Pax Prime in Seattle, WA. GosuGamers will be there live to interview teams, photograph the stage, and otherwise cover such an exciting event.

EDIT: For clarity, these are how the teams qualified for this tournament. 5 Qualifiers were held for each region and only EDward Gaming was directly invited to finish off the group of 8.

-- Asia Qualifier - MVP Black
-- China Qualifier - eStar
-- Europe Qualifier - Team Liquid/Virtus.Pro
-- Souteast Asia Qualifier - myRevenge.VS
-- Americas Qualifier - Tempo Storm/Cloud9 Maelstrom
-- One team gets a direct Invite - EDward Gaming
