In a surprise announcement, Blizzard confirms that Artanis will be the Starcraft warrior.
We all knew that Gamescom would bring in HoTS news, but nobody expected this. Artanis has been confirmed to be the Starcraft warrior everyone has been asking for. From what brief description we know, he's going to be able to put out some respectable damage while still remaining resilient. No release date for this mighty Protoss warrior is known, but it's very likely to coincide with Legacy of the Void.
This confirms Dehaka and other speculated Starcraft heroes will not be coming to the nexus anytime soon, as the Starcraft warrior spot as promised with the LOTV release has been filled. Also interesting to note is that he was accidentally confirmed by a Greek site a few weeks ago.
