Team DK has had a good week. Although they took 2nd place at the Gold Series Hero League, they still took home $16,100 in cash. Today, they won an additional $11,820 from a first place finish during Storm League 2015 Season 2 and settled the score with rival Team Snake:

After coming from the losers bracket, Team DK had to start the BO5 grand final against Team Snake 0-1. Going into game 1, Snake got an early lead and despite being ahead two keeps, felt greedy enough to fight for the boss in the ever feared Sky Temple Throw-pit. Sure enough, Team DK took the fighter, took the boss, and started comeback march to eventually win the game.

Using this momentum, Team DK easily took the 2nd match, flexing the strength of Leoric to constantly apply pressure and finish the game swiftly. Battlefield of Eternity proved an ideal map for DK's strategy; Snake couldn't find an opening the entire game. All DK needed was one more win to finish the series.

But Snake wasn't going to go down without a fight. In an incredibly long game on Tomb of the Spider Queen, Snake managed to pull out a victory. After controlling the map for nearly 10 minutes, Snake won a team fight causing giving Team DK the impossible task of defending against a 5 man team with only 4. After a 35 minute game, the high level heroes took down Team DK's core in no time.

The double warrior composition that won DK the tournament.
Now 2-2, the final game would be played on Dragon Shire, prompting Team DK to once again draft Leoric. Now coupled with Muradin, the two warriors dominating the laning phrase, allowing DK to grab the first Dragon Knight at 4 minutes then, another at 8 minutes, 11 minutes, and yet again at 15 minutes. The aggressive warrior composition stonewalled Team Snake from ever being able to contest the shrines, and true to their name, Team DK won the game, finishing the tournament 3-2.
