All you need to know about the MSI MGA SEA, Oceania, and Japan Qualifiers

Learn about the journey teams have traveled before the July 12th finals this weekend.

The MSI Masters Gaming Arena South East Asia, Oceania and Japan qualifiers for Heroes of the Storm are entering the climatic end next week, on 12th July 2015. With 25 teams from all over SEA and Oceania competing to qualify for a chance to enter the MGA Pax Prime event at Seattle, it was a battle to the top as each team went head to head on a best of 3 match up.

The top 4 semi finalists had gone through a grueling test of endurance.

Salt Gaming SG (Singapore)

Started their first match up against Tribo Ni William Lee from Phillipines, got a result of 2-1 and progressed to the next stage of the competition. Next match was up against Team Unbelievable from Singapore and had a good result of 2-0 and moved onto the Quarter finals. Salt Gaming SG with their strong momentum took a 2-0 victory against Team Bottles Bricks & Beyond from Australia which secured their top 4 placing.

Team Immunity (New Zealand)

Taking on their neighour Australia, they got a good start to the competition scoring a 2-0 victory over SLCN.pro. Their next match up was Salt Gaming MY from Malaysia with a 2-1 score and progressing to the next stage of battles. Finally they match up against Power Of Belief from Singapore with a 2-0 result to clinch a spot in the Semi finals.

Team myRevenge.vs (Singapore)

One of the top teams in Singapore, MyRevenge.VS went into this tournament with a roaring start by taking down Team Just A Tribute from Australia and Team Pandora Box from Thailand with both 2-0 victories and entered the Quarter finals. They match up against another top team in Singapore and defeating Mahou Shonen after a nail biting best of 3 rounds which left audiences at the edge of their seats. This puts Team myRevenge.VS as one of the top contenders for MGA 2015.

Team Exile5 (New Zealand)

New Zealanders should be proud as both New Zealand teams qualify into the semi finals in this competition in a similar fashion as myRevenge.VS, scoring 2-0 victories over Team Merlion from Singapore and Team SEA9 from Malaysia. With Team Jumping Lions at their quarter finals, they pulled through with a 2-1 victory to recieve the final slot for the semi finals of MGA 2015.

With the 4 teams that qualify, they will pit against the 4 seeded teams on the 12th July and only one team will be selected to be the region's representative in Prime PAX.
