On the 1st of July it was surprisingly announced that Fnatic forfeits from Dreamhack Allstars in Valencia. As a vacant spot opened, the organizers announced that Roccat, Puszek, Kappa123 and Gryphus are the teams to fight for this spot.
On the road to victory, Roccat had to face the always entertaining Puszek Team. The first Sky temple game did not go in their favour as Puzsek snatched the victory on the back of an Arthas pick. They tried the Arthas once more in the 2nd game on Cursed Hollow, but this time HasuObs brought some intense micro play from his StarCraft days and this helped him secure the victory on Abathur. Finally a double heal Rhegar + Tyrande composition to keep Kael and Valla alive on Tomb of the Spider Queen, paid off as Roccat clinched the victory and won the series 2:1.
In the final, Roccat had to face Kappa123 who had just won their seires versus Gryphus with a convincing 2:0 result. Roccat kept it short as they quickly secured two victoies. The first game was a Sky temple one and again they went with a Rhegar + Tyrande composition, making sure Jaina can wreak havoc. In the second game, on Dragon shire, Roccat bet on Sylvanas and Zagara and this brought results as they were in control throughout the whole game and finished it close to the 18 minute mark.
With Roccat being the team to win this qualifier, the teams to compete for the 15,000 dollar prize pool at Dreamhack Allstars will be:
