As Fnatic forfeits, Team ROCCAT, Puszek, Gryphus Evo and Edge of Madness battle it out for a spot in the qualifiers
An unexpected turn of events has hit Turtle Beach DreamHack All Stars. On the morning of July 1st, DreamHack announced that Fnatic, who had secured a spot in the Valencia qualifiers, had forfeit from the tournament.
DreamHack also announced that Team ROCCAT, Puszek, Gryphus Evo, and Edge of Madness will compete for Fnatic’s spot and face Na’Vi in the finals. These teams had been out of the tournament since losing in the quarter finals, which begs the question, why these teams and not the winners of this round? As pointed out in response to confusion to the twitter announcement by DreamHack, teams currently in 3rd and 4th place (Cast Aside and Team ASH) were not available.
Fnatic have yet to explain reasons behind their forfeit, and a stream schedule for these matches is yet to be announced.
