The 6th of June will feature an event called Digital Korea Day in Munich. Apart from lots of hotshot companies, Korean progamers will play showgames there. For StarCraft? Tossgirl and Reach!

The Korean Ministry has coperated with the Technical University and invited some of the stars of the Korean gaming scene to Germany and prove their skills for the German nation on the 6th of June. This all happens in an event they would like to call Digital Korea Day, which will be held in the Technical University in Munich.

Companies like KTF, Samsung and Sennheiser are hotshot IT companies that sponsors this event. Lotteries with mobile phones from Samsung will be held, and the first 300 visitors will get a free 1 GB USB flashdrive.

Most importantly from our (gamers) point of view are the invited Korean gamers that will show the Germans what a big thing Korean gaming has developed in. The Counter-Strike squad Korea Hacker.PK will attend and play against the German team Germany aTTaX in a showmatch. It also features FIFA 2006, where the programer Korea Yoon-seo "FlanB" Park will take part. And of course StarCraft, the very heart of Korean gaming, will be one of the attractions. The invited players are none other than Korea Jeong-Seok "Reach" Park (upper picture) and Korea Ji-Soo "Tossgirl" Seo (bottom picture). No information yet on how their showmatchs will be - whether they will play eachother or take on German fans in various showmatch alternatives.

If you happen to be in Germany on the 6th of June and you want to check this out the adress is Technival University, Munich on Arcisstrasse 21. For more information about the Technical University go to » their website.
